Shoot to Social

Shoot to Social publishes a workshop's job photos and videos to its social media accounts. Staff send the pictures to a Telegram bot; the service writes the captions and, once someone approves them, posts them.

How it works

  1. A member of staff sends photos or videos of a finished job to the Shoot to Social bot on Telegram.
  2. The bot asks which business the post is for. Staff can then describe the job in a voice note or a short text message.
  3. The service writes a caption in Romanian for each platform, based on that description, and shows the captions in the chat. Nothing is published until someone approves or edits them.
  4. It publishes the post to the business's Facebook Page and Instagram account, adds the photos to the gallery on the business's website, and sends it to TikTok if the business has connected a TikTok account.
  5. The bot reports back in Telegram when each platform has finished.

How TikTok is used

When a business connects its TikTok account, Shoot to Social uploads each video to that account's TikTok inbox as a draft. The video does not go live on its own: the account owner opens TikTok, chooses who can see it, and posts it from the TikTok app.

A post made only of photos is sent through TikTok's photo posting service instead, which creates the post on the account directly. The service picks its visibility from the options TikTok reports as allowed for that account.

The business can disconnect TikTok at any time.

Who runs it and who it is for

Shoot to Social is built and operated by Better Quality Assurance S.R.L. (BetterQA), a software company in Cluj, Romania. It is used today by businesses BetterQA works with: Arctic Works and Electric Works, two car workshops in Cluj.

There is no public sign-up and no price list. Access is by invitation. BetterQA sets up each business's brand and connects its social media accounts with the business's permission.
